How much does it cost to prepare for the ICS exam?

The short answer

You can prepare for €0: the terms, the syllabuses, the seven past papers and their answer keys are public and free on the ICS website and in the DOGC. What costs money is organised practice. At OposICS it is a one-off payment per call: €50 nursing, €39 nursing assistant and €80 for both.

Start with the part nobody tends to say out loud: all the official material is free and you can download it today.

  • The full terms and syllabuses, in the DOGC.
  • The seven official past papers and their answer keys, on the ICS website.
  • Our analysis of the seven papers and our index of past papers, on this site, with no sign-up.
  • The whole of Topic 1 with its test, open and with no card.

What costs money is not the information: it is having a large volume of ICS-style questions with instant marking, knowing what you get wrong and coming back to it systematically until you stop getting it wrong. That is what we sell.

AccessPriceModel
ICS nursing (A2-129)€50One-off payment per call
ICS nursing assistant (C2-159)€39One-off payment per call
Both categories€80One-off payment per call

No monthly fee and no automatic renewal. These are the prices on the site right now.

We do not publish other providers' prices: they change often and we have not verified them one by one, and quoting figures we cannot stand behind would be the exact opposite of what the rest of this page does. What you can compare is the model, which is usually where the cost difference lies: a monthly fee kept up throughout your preparation, or a single payment per call.

What is not known yet

If what you are missing is the syllabus, the official one is free and you do not need to pay us anything. This page is only useful to you if what you are missing is question volume and a system for reviewing what you get wrong.
